Units go missing inside the fulfilment network. Units come back damaged. Customers get refunded for items they never send back. Amazon resolves most of this on its own — and never tells you which cases it didn’t. Money Back finds those, shows which are still inside the claim window, and hands you the exact references the claim form asks for.

They look similar on a bank statement and behave nothing alike. Amazon judges them under separate rules, on separate clocks, through separate claim forms — so Money Back keeps them apart.
Your stock is lost or damaged while Amazon is handling it. Usually Amazon finds it or pays for it. Sometimes it does neither, and nothing ever says so.
Window: generally 60 days from the transaction date. Claim needs: transaction IDs for damaged units, FNSKUs for lost ones.
You refund a customer, and Amazon expects the item back within 60 days. If it never arrives, Amazon normally recharges the customer and reimburses you. Normally.
Window: generally 60 to 120 days after the refund. Claim needs: the order ID.
Why that window opens late, and why the other one starts closing at once: both claim windows explained.
Amazon reports units lost, units damaged, units found again and units reimbursed — in separate places, at different times, never netted off. Money Back nets them off.
Missing = Lost + Damaged − Found − Reimbursed
Zero or below and Amazon has already made you whole — the row reads Reimbursed or Resolved and needs nothing. Above zero and it is unresolved, with a dollar figure attached.

A return claim is worth its full value right up to the day it expires, and nothing the day after. Money Back puts every refunded order on its clock, so you are never guessing whether it is too early or already too late.
Too early to claim — and it may never need claiming. The customer still has time to send the item back, and Amazon still has time to reimburse you on its own. Leave it alone.
The window is open and this is claimable today. The countdown is what you have left. Nothing else on the page expires; this does.

Two reimbursement columns, because only one of them is money. Amazon can settle a return by paying you, or by putting a unit back into your inventory. Both close the case; only one of them reaches your bank. Money Back shows them separately rather than adding them together.
The hard part of a reimbursement claim was never the form — it was knowing there was a claim to make and finding the reference number it wants. Money Back does both, then steps out of the way.

How to submit
⚠ Claims are generally eligible within 60 days of the transaction date.
Inventory adjustments, reimbursements, refunds and returns come straight from Amazon through the Selling Partner API — read-only, no spreadsheets to upload.
Potential money back is valued on what the missing units actually cost you, lot by lot — not an average, and not a guess at retail.
Amazon decides each claim on its own terms and may pay a different amount, or decline. Potential money back ranks what is worth your time; it is not a receivable.
Connect your Amazon account and SellerGuards works back through your inventory adjustments, refunds and reimbursements to find the cases nobody ever closed — and tells you which ones you can still do something about.
