Profit & Loss

Coming Soon

The P&L feature combines every revenue source and every cost into one clean statement — Amazon sales, refunds, reimbursements, non-Amazon income, FIFO-based COGS, all Amazon fees, and your own expenses. Know your true gross profit, net profit, margin, and ROI across any time period.

Profit & Loss is currently in development. This documentation reflects the planned feature set. You'll be notified when it becomes available in your account.

What's Included

1P&L Statement
Every line item in one view — revenue at the top, costs below, and net profit at the bottom. Calculated automatically from your synced data.
2Period Analysis
Switch between daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly views. Trend charts show whether margins are growing or compressing over time.
3CSV Export
Export your full P&L as a clean, structured CSV — ready to hand to your accountant or attach to your tax return.

P&L Statement — Line Items

The statement is broken into two sides: Revenue and Costs. Every item is pulled automatically from your Amazon data and transactions — nothing needs to be entered manually except non-Amazon income and expenses you add yourself.

Revenue

Line ItemWhat It Represents
Amazon Sales RevenueGross sales revenue from FBA and FBM orders, synced directly from your Amazon account.
Refunds CostTotal refund amounts issued to customers, deducted from revenue. Shown as a negative line.
Reimbursements RevenueMoney Amazon paid back for lost or damaged FBA inventory. Tracked separately for visibility.
Non-Amazon Income RevenueAny revenue you enter manually — Shopify sales, wholesale orders, or other income sources.

Costs

Line ItemWhat It Represents
COGS CostCost of goods sold, calculated using FIFO lot pricing. Each unit sold is matched to the oldest active lot's buy cost — no estimates.
Amazon Referral Fee CostPercentage-based fee Amazon charges per sale, varies by category.
FBA Fulfillment Fee CostPer-unit pick, pack, and ship fee based on item size tier.
FBA Storage Fee CostMonthly storage charges for inventory sitting in Amazon's fulfillment centers.
Removal Fees CostFees for removing or disposing of inventory from FBA.
Other Expenses CostAny expenses you add manually — prep fees, subscriptions, software, shipping supplies, mileage.

Viewing by Time Period

Use the period selector at the top of the P&L screen to filter by any date range. Preset options (Today, This Week, This Month, This Year) are available, or pick a custom date range.

1
Select a period
Choose from the preset options or tap the date fields to enter a custom start and end date.
2
Review the trend chart
Below the totals, a chart shows revenue and profit across the period — useful for spotting seasonal patterns or identifying months where margins compressed.
3
Compare periods
Toggle the comparison mode to overlay two time periods side by side — e.g., this month vs. last month, or Q1 this year vs. Q1 last year.

Exporting to CSV

You can export any P&L view as a CSV file. The export includes every line item, the values for the selected period, and a total row at the bottom — formatted cleanly for sharing with an accountant or bookkeeper.

1
Set your desired period
Choose the date range you want to export before clicking Export — the CSV reflects whatever is currently on screen.
2
Click "Export CSV"
The button is in the top-right corner of the P&L screen. The file will download immediately.
For accountants: Export the full year P&L at tax time. Each expense category is labeled consistently so your accountant can map line items to the right tax categories without additional work from you.
