Inventory Management

Coming Soon

Inventory Management gives you a complete view of every SKU across FBA and FBM — stock levels, purchase lots, FIFO-based COGS, and per-SKU sales performance. No more spreadsheets to track what you paid for each batch, or guessing which units are oldest.

Inventory Management is currently in development. This documentation reflects the planned feature set. You'll be notified when it becomes available in your account.

What's Included

1Inventory List
All FBA and FBM inventory in one list — stock levels, fulfillment type, and status at a glance. Tap any item to open its full detail view.
2Product Overview
Full item identity (SKU, ASIN, FNSKU, title) alongside current inventory levels and a snapshot of revenue, profit, COGS, and ROI.
3Sales Performance
Revenue, net profit, ROI, COGS, and units sold across 7, 30, 90, and 365-day windows, with visual trend charts per SKU.
4FIFO Lots & Transactions
Every purchase batch tracked as its own lot. Sales match the oldest active lot automatically — true FIFO COGS down to the last unit.

How FIFO Lot Tracking Works

FIFO (First In, First Out) is the standard inventory accounting method — the assumption is that the oldest stock you bought gets sold first. SellerGuards enforces this automatically.

When you create a purchase lot (a batch of units from a supplier), it enters the queue. When Amazon reports a sale, SellerGuards finds the oldest lot with remaining units and uses that lot's buy cost as COGS for that sale.

Example: 3 lots for the same SKU
Lot A — Oldest
Bought Jan 5 · 50 units · $8.00/unit
Lot B
Bought Feb 12 · 80 units · $8.50/unit
Lot C — Newest
Bought Mar 20 · 60 units · $9.00/unit
Sales are matched to Lot A first ($8.00 COGS each). When Lot A is depleted, sales match Lot B. Lot C is used last.

Creating a purchase lot

1
Open a product from your inventory list
Tap any SKU from the main inventory screen to open its detail view.
2
Go to the Lots tab and tap "Add Lot"
The Lots tab shows all existing purchase batches for this SKU. Tap Add Lot to record a new purchase.
3
Enter the lot details
Fill in the purchase date, unit quantity, buy cost per unit, and optionally the supplier name and an expiry date.
4
Save — SellerGuards does the rest
The lot enters the FIFO queue. Future sales for this SKU will automatically draw from the oldest lot first and use that lot's buy cost for COGS calculations in your P&L.
Tip: Add lots as soon as you place purchase orders — not when the stock arrives at Amazon. This gives you the most accurate COGS timing and avoids a gap where sales are recorded but no lot cost exists yet.

Sales Performance View

Each product has a Performance tab that shows key metrics across multiple time windows — useful for spotting seasonal patterns, monitoring margin trends, or comparing this month to last.

Revenue
Total sales revenue for the SKU across the selected period, excluding refunds.
COGS
Total cost of goods sold, calculated from actual lot buy costs using FIFO — not an average or estimate.
Net Profit
Revenue minus COGS and all Amazon fees for the period.
ROI
Net profit as a percentage of total cost (COGS). How much you earned back on every dollar you put in.
Units Sold
Total units sold in the period, with a trend chart showing the sales cadence day by day.
