Feature Documentation

Insights

Insights answers the questions your raw numbers do not: why profit moved, which SKUs are trending the wrong way, and which stock needs action this week. Four modules are available in your account today — Profit Intelligence, Inventory Intelligence, Growth Trends and Money Back — with five more in development.

Four of the nine modules are live now. Profit Intelligence, Inventory Intelligence, Growth Trends and Money Back are in your account under Insights. The remaining five are marked In development below — those sections describe the planned feature set, and you'll be notified as each one ships.

Insight Modules

Insights is organized into nine focused modules, listed here with the live ones first. Each answers a different business question and works independently — you don't need to have all features set up to benefit from any individual module.

Profit Intelligence
When profit moves, Profit Intelligence shows you why. It breaks the change between two periods into the components that caused it, so you can see whether a drop came from softer sales, higher COGS, rising Amazon fees, refunds or discounting.
  • Profit bridge across revenue, COGS, Amazon fees, refunds, discounts and reimbursements
  • The SKUs behind the move, ranked by how much profit each one added or cost
  • Built on your real FIFO cost, not an average — so margins reflect what you actually paid
  • Drill straight through from any SKU row into its inventory detail

Inventory Intelligence
A health read on your whole catalog: what is about to run out, what is overstocked, and how much cash is sitting in stock that is not moving.
  • Every SKU classified as Healthy, Low Stock, Reorder Needed, Out of Stock Risk, Out of Stock, Overstock or Dead Inventory
  • Overview tab for the catalog-level picture, SKU Analysis tab for the row-by-row detail
  • Filter to a single status to work through one problem at a time
  • Value of stock tied up in slow and dead inventory, priced at your FIFO cost

Growth Trends
One row per product, one column per period, so you can read the direction of the whole catalog in a single pass instead of opening SKUs one at a time.
  • Units sold, units returned and return rate alongside revenue, refunds, discounts and reimbursements
  • COGS, Amazon fees, net profit and net margin on the same row
  • Four time grains, so you can switch between a short-term read and a seasonal one
  • Shading highlights the outliers — seasonality, stockouts, launch spikes and quiet decline

Money Back
Amazon loses inventory, damages inventory, and refunds customers who never send the item back. It settles most of this on its own — but not all of it, and it never tells you what it missed. Money Back finds the unresolved cases and hands you the reference data each Seller Central claim form asks for.
  • Lost & Damaged: units lost or damaged in an FBA warehouse that were never found or reimbursed
  • Customer Return: refunded orders where the item never came back and Amazon never paid
  • Flags which cases are still inside Amazon's claim window, and how long is left
  • Copy-ready transaction IDs, FNSKUs and order IDs for the claim form — you file it and keep 100%

SKU Profit & Performance
In development
See profit, margin, and ROI broken down by individual SKU — so you know exactly which products are driving your business and which ones are dragging it down.
  • Revenue, net profit, and ROI per SKU
  • Units sold and refund rate per product
  • Sortable by any metric to surface top and bottom performers
  • Trend charts per SKU for 7, 30, 90, 365-day windows
Cashflow
In development
Track the actual cash moving in and out of your business over time — not just accounting profit. See when Amazon pays out, when large expense batches hit, and how your cash position changes week over week.
  • Weekly and monthly cashflow chart
  • Amazon disbursement timeline
  • Expense timing analysis (when costs cluster)
  • Running cash position estimate
Inventory Velocity
In development
Understand how fast each SKU is selling and how long your current stock will last. Use velocity data to time reorders before you run out — without over-buying.
  • Daily and weekly sell-through rate per SKU
  • Days of stock remaining based on current velocity
  • Reorder timing recommendations
  • Slow-mover identification (high storage cost risk)
PPC Analytics
In development
Understand how your Amazon advertising spend is affecting your overall profitability — not just ACOS, but the full picture including organic sales impact.
  • Ad spend as a percentage of revenue (TACOS)
  • PPC cost per order and cost per unit sold
  • Organic vs. paid sales ratio per SKU
  • Profit margin before and after ad spend
Smart Alerts
In development
Get notified when something in your business needs attention — before it becomes a problem. Alerts are generated automatically based on your data and thresholds you configure.
  • Low stock alerts (days remaining below your threshold)
  • Margin compression detected on a SKU
  • Potential lost or unreimbursed inventory flagged
  • Unusual refund rate spike on a product

Configuring Alerts

Smart Alerts is still in development — this section describes how configuration will work once it ships.

Smart Alerts are pre-configured with sensible defaults, but you can customize thresholds per SKU or globally across your account.

Recommended setup: Start by setting a low-stock threshold for your top 10 SKUs. This is the alert most sellers find immediately valuable — it prevents stockouts that would otherwise tank your BSR and Buy Box eligibility.
